Fantoche – International Animation Film Festival
The international Fantoche Festival in Baden celebrates the art of animation in all forms and promotes independent filmmaking. Started 22 years ago, Fantoche has established itself as the largest Swiss cultural event for animation and is a popular meeting place for creatives. Over 300 short films and numerous feature film premieres with making-of-presentations give insights into creative filmmaking from all over the world. The two curated programmes “Brexit: Goodbye to All That?” and “3 Generations: Cinema, Tv, Web” form the thematic focus of this year’s edition. Multimedia projects and innovative games in free exhibitions extend perspectives into virtual worlds.
