Switzerland’s comic book culture is a genuine goldmine of creativity – so it is high time for a look at the so-called ‘ninth art’ and all it entails. Since 2014, comics scholarships have been awarded by a number of cities in German-speaking Switzerland to the best cartoonists in the land. Fumetto presents three scholarship beneficiaries and offers an insight into various fantastic worlds that come alive beyond the pages of the comic books.
