The Ainu people constitute an indigenous population of Hokkaido, Honshu, Sakhalin, Kuril Islands and Kamchatka Peninsula. A “kaparamip” is a kimono with Ainu patterns, created with shaped, white pieces of cloth and embroideries. Boris Labbé brings it to life.
