Ivan Sokolov

Ivan Sokolov (*2001), born in Russia, grew up in Lugano where he frequented the Liceo Lugano 1. During his secondary studies he developed an interest for filmmaking and started collaborating with the RSI’s social media department. Since then, he directed several shortfilms, music videos, advertisement videos, as well of attending Locarno Film Festival 2020 and Castellinaria 2021 as a member of the young jury.
