Centred around a love triangle in Budapest in the late 1970s, this astounding musical documentary shines with its remarkable dense visuals, psychedelic character animation, kaleidoscopic storytelling and trippy jazz score. Preceded by numerous short films, “Bubble Bath” is the only feature-length animation by painter György Kovasznai (1934–1983).
