La Maison en Petits Cubes

As the water level around his house rises continually, an aged widower is forced to add an additional level onto his home in order to stay dry. But then he accidentally drops his favourite smoking pipe into the lower levels. This touching tale won the 2009 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.
