Dogs, rabbits, white mice – even owning a pet was forbidden to the Jewish inhabitants of the Prague Ghetto during the Nazi era. The expressive figure animation Brut depicts the Holocaust through the eyes of a dog, who could smell the evil but couldn’t keep it at bay.
