Best of Fantoche

86 films from 22 countries were entered in the competitions at Fantoche. A total of 11 prizes were awarded, along with two special mentions. Fantoche will be showcasing nine of the winning films in its Best of Fantoche programme. The films chart a broad spectrum of contemporary animation, from multi-coloured, rapid-paced abstraction to tongue-in-cheek tales, from hand-drawn films to animations that are complex mixes of objects and painting. This breadth of narrative styles will make the programme amusing and entertaining in the best sense of the word.
