Laurent Guido

Currently Professor at the University Lille Nord de France, he was Professor and Chair at the University of Lausanne (2007-2014), and was notably invited to teach at Montreal (UdeM), Paris Nanterre and Bruxelles (ULB). His work addresses the relations between cinema, music and dance, focusing on the rhythmical representations of bodily movement in modern mass culture and media. Most recent books and edited volumes include:

He is currently completing a book on Richard Wagner’s influence on film theory and history.
