Have you worked as a programmer or curator before? If yes, where? 

From 2015-2018 I was involved in the selection of the International Competition at Fantoche. During 2019-20, I also sat on the selection committee for the GLAS Animation Grant (USA).

What will you look for when selecting films?

That the best films get into the programme and don’t ruin each other in the order they are shown.

What is your favourite animated character, what is your favourite animated film?

I like the fat characters in Atsuhsi Wada’s films. If I could only show my grandmother one animated film, it would probably be Boogodobiegodongo by Peter Millard.

What are you looking forward to discovering during the selection?

I look forward to films that surprise me.

What is your favourite cinema snack?

Two chewing gums.
