Sascha Lara Bleuler

Sascha Lara Bleuler (*1977) has been the creative director of the Human Rights Film Festival Zurich since 2015. She studied English, Film Studies and French Literature at the University of Zurich and has been a freelance film writer for various publications, including the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, Filmbulletin and Cinema, since 2002. From 2015 to 2017, she was on the non-fiction committee of the Zürcher Filmstiftung. For over 15 years, she has curated film programmes for a range of festivals including Kurzfilmtage Winterthur, Visions du Réel in Nyon, Docaviv in Tel Aviv and Semaine de la Critique in Locarno.
