What will you look for when selecting films?

Important criteria for me are that the film touches me, shows a new perspective and that triggers interesting reactions & discussions. Whether I feel the need to share the film with others and whether it makes me curious to see more of this director. 

What is your favourite animated character, what is your favourite animated film? 
There are so many that it is very difficult to choose: One of the first animated characters that excited me was Ranma ½. I was fascinated by the concept of a person constantly changing from a female and male body while maintaining their character. An animated film that I have watched on and off since childhood is the Christmas classic «The Snowman» by Dianne Jackson & Jimmy Murakami. The film is very atmospheric and on the one hand conveys warmth and comfort to me as a viewer and on the other hand moves me to tears with its melancholic ending.

What are you looking forward to discovering during the selection? 
I am looking forward to works that will keep me occupied after the screening.

What is your favourite cinema snack? 
A strawberry lollipop: it makes no noise and lasts a long time.
