Amélie Cochet

Co-Kuratorin Fantoche Industry Day / 2D Animatorin & Illustratorin

Amélie was born in the canton of Berne and grew up bilingually. She picked up a pencil at the time and has never put it down since.
After the Talent Promotion Design & Art at the Gymnasium Hofwil in collaboration with the Bern University of the Arts, she graduated from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts with a Bachelor’s degree in Animation 2D and has been working independently as an animator and illustrator ever since. In 2019 she co-founded the collective Studio PIAF, where she worked until its dissolution in 2022.

Her fascinations are the absurd moments of everyday life, sarcasm and the moving image.
