It may be obvious, but backgrounds tend to fade into the background in animated films. Still, achieving this effect is a key element involved in creating them. FOCAL is offering a seminar that looks at how to design scenery and settings. The seminar also uses case studies and practical examples to highlight the tools, methods and pitfalls involved in designing backgrounds.
