Best Kids Competition
The Best Kids Award was chosen by a jury of six children between the ages of 8 and 12. The children’s jury was supervised by “Die Zauberlaterne” (The Magic Lantern), the children’s film club. This year marks the seventh time that the children’s jury selects an award-winner.

Jury laudation: “We chose the film for several reasons. We think that the film is made in a beautiful way, especially because of its unusual visual style. The warm colours exude a pleasant mood. You can feel that the protagonist loves to draw. The characters are touched by the drawings. The animation and the live-action are harmoniously connected. On the whole, the film “Lila” by Carlos Lascano touched us very much.”
