Jury laudation: “Discussing about the competition films and possible award contenders us jury members mentioned this film over and over again in the context of different award categories. It masters a story which was risky to handle with great visuals and animation accompanied with sublime sound. The New Talent award for the best first film goes therefore to the student film «The Pride of Strathmoor» by Einar Baldvin.”
