With both meditative and dynamic passages, “Away” tells the story of a boy as he makes his way back to civilisation after a catastrophe. This loner has to overcome his fears and take a leap of faith. Gints Zilbalodis crafted every aspect of his debut feature film single-handedly – including the soundtrack.
