Summer 1989: Fritzi lives in East Germany and spends the summer looking after her friend Sophie’s dog. But Sophie isn’t coming back; she’s defected to the West. Fritzi decides to bring Sophie her dog – and winds up in the middle of a revolution. A slice of European history told from a child’s point of view.
