Her Blue Sky

The 18-year-old Aoi wants to get away from her sister Akane, who has been caring for her since their parents died, and strike out on her own as a bassist in Tokyo. That is, until a surreal encounter with Akane’s ex-boyfriend turns Aoi’s understanding of the world upside down. This tale of unfulfilled dreams takes place in Chichibu, the home town of screenwriter Mari Okada.
