Masterclass Réka Bucsi

Fantoche gives the floor to an intriguing voice within a new generation of animation artists, namely Hungarian animation director Réka Bucsi. Her poetic, dreamlike short films, which show nature through a slightly twisted lens and have a somewhat sci-fi quality to them, have been traveling the world. Bucsi’s films present experimental narratives and complex stories in a style that is simultaneously surreal, poetic and delightful.
