A metaphorical film about the perseverance of expectation, hope and fulfillment. A man shows up in a restaurant, he is the only guest. A waiter welcomes him. While the man is waiting for his order, time covers everything with the patina of age. When the waiter finally comes back, the man seems to have passed away.
