My Milk Cup Cow

A father tells his daughter Nunu that there is a cow inside her cup of milk. She believes him but when she has finished her milk, there is no cow. As she grows up, the whole world around her seems to be less and less trustworthy and more and more confusing. This touching animated short film is based on the childhood memories of the artist’s father as seen from the child’s point of the view in a small town in Jiangnan, China, in the 1980s.
