What happens to analogue film material once it’s no longer needed? In his abstract animation, Thorsten Fleisch combines fragments of found footage to create a frenetic rush of sounds and images. A choral soundtrack accompanies the particles on their journey into the light, and leaves no doubt: there is life after death where film is concerned.
