Solo in a Fallow Field

A farmer get up, shaves, dresses and eats his bread. With his horses, he pulls a heavy plough through a field. A series of monotonous and repetitive actions, taking him in circles.  Accompanied by a patriotic song from the times of communist Poland, the film unmasks the romantic image of a peasant’s life and work.
