Heroines

Equal rights between men and women is still a fiction in society today. It’s a different story in films: women can have superpowers and supernatural abilities, and are not bound by patriarchal expectations. Fantoche 2020 is shining the spotlight on these female protagonists and superwomen. They inspire and encourage others to turn away from behavioural conventions and venture into new territory. They show the world that it is okay for girls and women to have a strong voice and to make no apologies if they are smarter than others around them.
