Call for Entries: We want your best GIF 2022

NEVER GIF UP! (Fantoche GIF Programme 2021 with Live-Music from Bit Tuner)

Dear GIF producers

This year marks the ninth time that Fantoche is curating a special GIF programme, giving credit to the ever growing GIF scene around the world by showing this short animation art on the big cinema screen. Fantoche is the most important animation film festival in Switzerland; renowned in the animation scene for its innovative programming and a venue for the industry and visual artists with different backgrounds in animation, game design, illustration or graphic design. The programme will be curated out of the submissions and will be presented with live produced music.

Submit your best GIF to Fantoche by 23. June 2022:  programmation@fantoche.ch

 Submission:

  • Submit a maximum of three animated GIFs
  • Title of your GIF
  • Year of production
  • Surname and first name and pronoun
  • Artistic pseudonym (if you have any)
  • E-mail address
  • Nationality
  • Website (if exists)

Send the GIF in the highest quality possible. If the size of the GIF is too large (>10 MB), please use Dropbox or WeTransfer. 

The DEADLINE for submissions is 23 June 2022.

We will gladly inform you of the selection commitee decision at the beginning of July.
