The festival programme 2016

The festival programme of 2016 contains innovative animation art from all around the world: 27 films out of 1394 submissions from 79 contries are nominated, aswell as 23 films in the Kids Competition. 22 nominees out of 81 submissions made it into the Swiss Competition. The new “Hors Concours” programme contains a total of 36 current short films from all around the world. In addition, Fantoche presents 14 current feature films with several Swiss premieres amongst them. The programme item “Humanité Animée” reflects on all the conditions of humanity in four short film programmes and two topical feature films. Interactive projects of “Animation goes Multimedia” offer an expansion of the operating range to 360° and into virtual realities. The Industry Day, several retrospectives, coming-soons, making-ofs and many other programmes offer inspiration and new ideas.
