Our Friday programme

Today’s programme starts at 9.00 in the «Druckerei» with the «Industry Breakfast». Afterwards, the «Fantoche Industry Day» continues from 9.30 to 18.30.

Nothing is more exciting than the forests of these animated films: full of magic and adventure! For our young audience the curated short film programme «Into the Animated Woods» starts at 10.00 at Trafo 2.

At 11.45 the first animated feature film of today starts with «Mirai». Here you can see the complete programme of the current feature films. Today we also recommend: «The Tower» and «Zero Impunity».

At 12.15 the programme «Coming Soon: Mary Anning» is starting at Trafo 2 in the presence of director Marcel Barelli, who also made our Fantoche trailer this year.

At 14.15 one of this year’s focus points «Shoes, a Shirt and 100 Lire» continues. In the programme «Searching for Traces» pupils will present their own animated films on the topic of migration at the cinema Sterk at 14.15.
At the same time, the programme «Is this Arrival?» will begin in the cinema Orient. Various short films show the diversity of the travel paths, destinations and the emigrants themselves.
At 16.15 the programme «Home is where the Heart is» begins in the cinema Orient and at 20.45 in the evening the programme «Places we long for» begins.

Visitors have the opportunity to take a glance behind the curtains in the programme «Making-of: Panique au village: La Foire Agricole» at 16.15 at Trafo 2. The director Vincent Patar gives exciting insights into the madcap adventures of Cowboy, Indian and Horse. Following the making-of at 18.30 under the title «Panique tous courts» are three episodes that will be shown at Trafo 3.

In the evening at 20.30 Fantoche-Team’s most beloved animated trash music videos we be shown at the Royal.
