The selection is final!

The selection team has narrowed down 2,552 entries to its chosen few. The International Competition will see 32 films vie for five prizes (Best Film, High Risk, New Talent, Best Visual and the Audience Award). Switzerland is also represented in the International Competition by Jonas Bienz’s “Boddyssey”. In the Swiss competition, 20 films will fight it out for six prizes (Best Swiss, High Swiss Risk, New Swiss Talent, Fantastic Swiss, the Swiss Youth Award and the Audience Award). In the Kids Film Competition, 24 films will jockey for the judges’ and audience’s affections – and two prizes, Best Kids and the Children’s Audience Award. Another 26 entries will be shown in three “Panorama” programmes.
The 20th edition of Fantoche International Film Festival is set to screen the latest feature films, themed selections – Overcoming Crisis and a spotlight on the Balkans. The festival will also celebrate its anniversary – and take a look back at the past 19 editions of Fantoche. For those who can’t make it to Baden, all award-winning films from the previous 19 festivals will be available to watch online at filmingo.ch from 6 to 30 September.
