Sunday at Fantoche

Kids and Family programme

Are you planning a family day at Fantoche? Then head to Trafo 2, where only films suitable for children will be shown from 10 am to 6:30 pm. The feature-length films include “Princesse Dragon”, “Yuku et la fleur d’Himalaya”, “Oink” and “I am what I am”.

The programme “Animation for Kids: Classic and new Creators” invites families to get to know classics of the animation film scene as well as newer animated films. The whole thing at 12:15pm at Trafo 3.

The short film programme “Panorama Teens” runs at Trafo 3 at 2:15 pm. It is aimed at young people aged 12-16 to spark their interest in animated films.

Those who want to gain practical experience in animation should come to the Walk-In Workshop: “Kinderdisco” at the Festival Centre. There, various materials and the stop trick technique will be used to bring the Fantoche mascots to life. Drop in between 3:30pm and 6:30pm even without registering. Participation is free of charge!

Shorts at Church

It’s time to enjoy the last day of Fantoche! At 10:15 am we will show the film “Écorce” by Samuel Patthey and Silvain Monney that will inspire the service at the Reformed Church in Baden. Afterwards, the two short films “To the Last Drop” by Simon Schellmann and “Alleswasichberühre” by Marion Täschler will be shown at the church community hall, accompanied by drinks and a film discussion.

How Animators and Game Designers Work Together

Animators and Game desginers have collaborated on games throughout the festival week, exploring the dividing lines and overlapping aspects of the two disciplines. The prototypes produced will be presented at Kino Sterk 1 at 14:15!

The Grande Finale

The award ceremony will take place on Sunday evening. The following prizes will be awarded: International Competition: «Best Film», «High Risk», «New Talent», «Best Visual» and the Audience Award International Competition. in the Swiss Competition: «Best Swiss» «High Swiss Risk», «New Swiss Talent», «Fantastic Swiss», «Swiss Youth Award» und the Audience Award Swiss Competition. Kids Film Competition: «Best Kids» and the Young Audience Award. You get to see the awarded films at our “Best of Fantoche” at 20:15 at Trafo 1 (by invitation) or at 20:45 at Trafo 2, Trafo 3 and Kino Sterk 1.
