War and Peace

Firstly Fantoche is referring to the Treaty of Baden from 1714, known as ‘Peace of Baden’, which helped end the Spanish War of Succession. Secondly Fantoche is making a reference to the Remembrance of the First World War.
This september Fantoche will show five short film programmes about ‘War & Peace’, feature films and will organize a panel of contributions on cartoons/caricatures, games and animation films. Simultaneously to the Peace Congress in Baden there are two exhibitions: ‘Warzone Peace’ at the Kunstraum Baden and ‘Frieden verhandeln’ at the Historical Museum Baden.
