Anaïs Emery

Parallel to getting her degree in Film Studies at the University of Lausanne, Anaïs Emery worked as a film projectionist, programme manager for the CinéLuminium independent cinema and production assistant. She was one of the founding members of the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival in 1999, and has been the artistic director of the festival since 2005. She became a member of the Swiss Film Academy in 2009 and of the Expert Committee of the «Fondation Romande pour le Cinéma» and the Swiss Film Festivals Association in 2012. Anaïs Emery is also active beyond Helvetian borders. From 2004 to 2006 she worked for Utopiales, the Nantes International Science Fiction Festival. Since 2006 she has also been a member of the European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation (EFFFF), based in Brussels.
