In 1991 Vincent Adatte founds «Passion Cinéma», a development association for quality cinema in the canton of Neuenburg. From 1991 to 1998 he is responsible for the catalogue and the daily «Pardo News» at Locarno Film Festival. From 1996 to 2001 he is a board member of the International Film Festival Fribourg and also a member of the «Ciné-Bulletin» committee. From 2008 to 2011 he works as an expert on documentary films for the selective film funding of the Swiss Federal Cultral Office. Now he is in the expert group of «Cinéforom – fondation romande pour le cinéma».

As an iniciator of Zauberlaterne’s concept, Vincent Adatte was a co-founder of the association in 1992 and manages all of the film projects and activities since. This involves animation, promotional videos, short films and children’s films. He is also responsible for the design of the association’s web promotion an is co-author of the «Mission: Ciné» show, which is broadcsted on the Suisse Romande channel RTS.
