Submit a GIF

This year marks the fourth time that Fantoche is curating a special GIF programme, giving credit to the ever growing GIF scene around the world by showing this short animation art on the big cinema screen. Fantoche is the most important animation film festival in Switzerland; renowned in the animation scene for its innovative programming and a venue for the industry and visual artists with different backgrounds in animation, game design, illustration or graphic design.

The GIF programme will run in the category „Fantoche Expanded“ that features different creative fields connected with animation. The programme will be curated out of the submissions and will be presented on a cinema screen with live produced music.

Submit your best GIF to Fantoche by 27 June 2017: programmation@fantoche.ch

Submission:

• submit a maximum of three GIFs
• include your full credits: title of your GIF, year of production, your surname and first name, artistic pseudonym (if you have any), e-mail address, nationality AND country of residence, your website (if exists)
• send the GIF in the highest quality possible
• if the size of the GIF is too large (>10 MB), please use dropbox, google drive or WeTransfer
• the deadline for submissions is 27 June 2017.
