Jana Novotny

Jana Novotny (*1979) studied art history and German language and literature in Zurich and Prague. Before completing a doctorate in contemporary art, she worked in radio and TV journalism, both on stage and backstage in theatres and in art projects. Jana’s passion for literature, imagery and storytelling took her to the Fumetto Comic Festival in Lucerne. Since 2012, she has curated the international festival as its artistic director and advocates for the nationwide comics industry.
