Rolf Bächler

Rolf Bächler (*1951) is an independent Centre of Excellence for animation, founded in 1951 in Zurich: animator, director, producer, journalist, analyst, activist, idealist, lecturer, teacher, expert, enthusiast, facilitator, organiser, consultant, curator, ideator, at one point even president of the trade association and lastly, founder of the Animatorium as a home for the animated image in the very heart of the historic centre of Zurich. In short, a hopeless case.
