Exhibition Ryo Hirano "Teeth"

Teeth are the hardest part of the human body and last for more than thousand years. In the aftermath of 2011’s huge tsunami, remaining teeth helped doctors identify dead bodies. If you give teeth a voice, the lost memories will come back. The way in which Ryo Hirano explores Japan’s history of suffering is cute and profound at the same time.
