Celebrating 20 Editions

Two years ago, Fantoche celebrated its 25th anniversary – and now it’s time to get those corks popping once again: 2022 marks the 20th edition of Switzerland’s first ever animated film festival! We’re celebrating the occasion with a vibrant bouquet of programming: former festival directors will present their favourite films, and “Ivana’s Choice” takes the audience on a personal tour of the new director’s cinematic hinterland. The winning films from the last 19 editions of the festival will be shown online. “A Wall is a Screen” invites visitors to take a stroll around the city, while the Royal will host a glorious anniversary gala.
