Panorama For Kids and Teens

Panorama Teens

For the “Panorama” format, the international competition’s selection team chooses the latest in creative animated films. “Panorama Teens” is a programme for young people aged between 12 and 16 – aimed at sparking their interest in animated film.

The environment, systems of coexistence, identity or simply the magic of animation are all subjects in “Panorama Teens”. Jorn Leeuwerin’s “Pig” illustrates the fragility of the ecosystem and its exploitation. In Noah Erni’s “The Invention of Less”, a polar bear is forced to leave his home and travels to Zurich, brimming with business ideas on how to finance his livelihood. A group of FINTAs (women, intersex, non-binary, transgender and agender people) in Valentine Zhang’s “I am not” meet for a political flyposting campaign. In the coming-of-age story “Fledge” by Hani Dombe and Tom Kouris, a girl and her grandmother share a secret that will be revealed once the girl reaches a certain age.
